Tour of Fort George German Military Cemetery

At the end of last year, Blue Ormer published “Life Lives Beyond the Grave” by Occupation historian Simon Hamon and Karsten Adrian, a Major in the German Army. Together they have researched the stories behind the servicemen buried there.

During July, Major Karsten Adrian is in the island with a team of German soldiers carrying out work on the cemetery.

Simon and Karsten will be hosting a guided tour of the cemetery on Tuesday lunchtime starting at 12:30. The tour will last about 45 minutes, is free and there is no need to book.

Copies of their book “Life Lives Beyond the Grave” will be available for sale after the tour.
